Giroud reveals the song he taught his children plus what Adli has done that Origi ‘has to learn’

AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud has revealed that he taught his children a couple of songs to help them celebrate the Scudetto win.

Giroud arrived from Chelsea in the summer of 2021 and he demonstrated all of his experience during what was a very tense and testing campaign, scoring some crucial goals to help lead the Rossoneri to the Scudetto.

He netted a brace against Inter in the second derby of the season to complete a comeback win that many believe was the turning point in the title race, while he also scored the winner away against Napoli, the equaliser to set the scene for the late win against Lazio and also got a quickfire brace to virtually seal the title for Milan against Sassuolo in the final round.

Giroud was interviewed by DAZN at Milanello and spoke about the Scudetto win, the songs that he taught his children and the two new signings that have arrived, with his comments relayed by SempreMilan.it.

On last season: “I scored a lot of goals for the team, to help them win a Scudetto that we wanted to bring back here.”

On his children: “I taught them the song ‘we are the champions of Italy’. And first, at the beginning of the season after the first goal, I also taught him ‘we came here to see Giroud score’.”

On the new signings: “Adli has already learned Italian, he has taken Italian lessons. Origi has to learn.”
