Juventus look to miss out on Hakan Calhanoglu as AC Milan are likely to agree a renewal with the midfielder, a report claims.
According to Goal, the hypothesis of launching a raid on a domestic had been doing the rounds with Juve keen on landing Calhanoglu to reinforce their creative department. His contract expires in June which means that any club could land him on a free transfer in just six months.
The report adds that while a new deal has not been agreed yet, the desire on Milan’s part is to get him to pen fresh terms, and the player is open to signing a new deal and staying at San Siro.
Juve would have been in the hunt if an opportunity were to present itself, but it is understood that the Rossoneri management have made it clear Calhanoglu will not leave in January.
