Goal: Roma serious about landing €30m Milan target as Mourinho approves move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan may soon see their striker wish list shortened by one as Roma are serious about signing Andrea Belotti this summer, according to a report.

Belotti has been with Torino since 2015 and has scored double figures in league goals in each of the last six seasons, although he could be leaving in the summer. That is because his contract due to expire in 2022 meaning that the Granata are likely to sell if he does not look open to a renewal, with Milan repeatedly talked about as a potential destination by numerous sources.

According to the latest from Goal, it is Roma who are ready to make a move for the Italy international Belotti after head coach Jose Mourinho approved him as a transfer target to potentially replace Edin Dzeko, who looks set to depart.

The report claims that Torino will be looking to recoup around €30m for their club captain although Mourinho’s side will look to pay significantly less than that amount in large part because of his contract situation.
