CM: Hellas Verona strike agreement with Milan over Daniel Maldini and seek second deal

By Oliver Fisher -

Daniel Maldini is closing in on a loan move to Hellas Verona with an agreement in principle having been reached, a report claims.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, the 21-year-old Milan playmaker is set to join Verona for the 2022-23 campaign, as the Gialloblu have reached an agreement in principle with the Rossoneri management.

The formula will be a dry loan and therefore no option for La Scala to make it permanent via an option or obligation to buy. As for the background, a very important meeting between the two clubs took place two days ago and in it an agreement was reached in principle regarding the temporary move.

In the talks between Milan and Verona, the name of Marco Brescianini also popped up. The Primavera product spent last season on loan at Monza and is now sought by Hellas. Relations between the two clubs are very good and could help seal a double operation.
