There could soon be discussions between AC Milan and Lecce regarding a number of different players who could go opposite ways.

According to MilanVibes, Milan are ‘maintaining a very active communication channel with Lecce’ at present. There are various profiles on the table that could go one way or the other, as Francesco Camarda did when he headed to Apulia last summer.
Who is being discussed
One of the names on the defensive wish list is Tiago Gabriel, a prospect that has been closely monitored for some time. His transfer value is set at around €25m, a valuation also reflecting the Salento club’s recent rejection of a €23m offer from the Bundesliga.
Currently, the Rossoneri management have initiated initial contact with the player’s agent but have not yet made a direct contact with his club club. Tiago Gabriel remains a solid target but not the top priority, and much will depend on if Lecce go down. If they do, his salary would be cut significantly.
Milan’s plan is to add two new central defenders in the summer transfer window. While Mario Gila’s arrival now ‘seems almost certain’ in the words of the report, the second choice is still being evaluated. Gabriel is an option but others are being assessed, such as Udinese’s Thomas Kristensen.
In the last few hours, sources like PianetaLecce have linked Lameck Banda’s name to the Diavolo. However, MilanVibes believe the Zambian winger is not currently on the list of possible names for the mercato.
A central issue in the relationship between the two clubs concerns Francesco Camarda. If Lecce were to avoid relegation, Pantaleo Corvino would push hard to keep the young striker, a profile he greatly values.
The boy is very happy in Salento and his permanence could also be favoured by rumours of a possible appointment of Ignazio Abate as the new manager, a coach who has already developed him in the youth team at Milan. However, Sassuolo are also watching the striker’s situation.
The last name on the table is Warren Bondo, a 22-year-old midfielder that Milan signed from Monza in January 2025. The player will return to Milan after a one-year loan at Cremonese, but the Rossoneri intend to loan him out again to a Serie A team to allow him to play consistently.
Lecce desperately needs dynamic players for their midfield, and Corvino is very interested in the Frenchman. This year, Bondo has made 28 appearances for Cremonese in the league and Coppa Italia, totaling 1,801 minutes, proving he’s ready for a new challenge in the top flight.
