Ibrahimovic confirms Milan talks but refuses to give clear response: “We’ll see”

Ahead of the clash between AC Milan and Atalanta in Bergamo this evening, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was intercepted by the media. The Swede didn’t give much away regarding his return, but confirmed that the parties are in talks.

Ibrahimovic has been heavily linked with a return to Milan in recent weeks, months even, and this has been fueled by his recent visits to San Siro. Just a while back, the Rossoneri president Paolo Scaroni said that everything depends on the 42-year-old.

Speaking to Sky Italia this evening, as cited by MilanNews, Ibrahimovic shared his brief thoughts on a potential return to Milan. He pretty much kept the lid on, but at least confirmed that the parties are indeed talking about the matter.

“A return to Milan? I don’t know, let’s see, we’re talking and let’s see what will happen,” he stated.

Tonight’s clash is scheduled for 18:00 CET and Milan will be hoping to grab their third consecutive win in the league. Theo Hernandez is starting at centre-back once again, and Olivier Giroud is back from his suspension.
