Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still recovering from the knee surgery he underwent in the summer and it seems that he has made great progress. Stefano Pioli was asked about the Swede during his press conference earlier today.
Milan will face Fiorentina tomorrow evening and Stefano Pioli, speaking at his usual pre-match conference, was asked about the recovery of Ibrahimovic. He confirmed that the striker is improving and that he will travel with them to Dubai.

“The plan is for him to come with us to Dubai, but it’s too early to say when he will be available to play. Workloads will increase from Dubai onwards: the program will develop day by day,” he stated.
Given that the damage to Ibrahimovic’s knee was extensive, and his age, it’s only natural that the recovery takes a long time. Having him back in the early stages of the second half of the season would be a huge boost for Milan.
Ibrahimovic, as we know, is a leader on the pitch and in difficult moments, it’s always good to have his experience. When he’s healthy and able to train consistently, he also knows how to find the back of the net.
