MN: Ibrahimovic, Kalulu and Messias train individually – one could be fit to face Napoli

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan trained again at Milanello this morning as preparations continue in view of the trip to face Napoli on Sunday night.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Milan had a training session today during which the entire squad were involved barring Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Junior Messias and Pierre Kalulu, who all did individual work.

Ibrahimovic suffered some discomfort while on international duty with Sweden which forced him to miss their second game, while Kalulu picked up a calf problem and Messias has been out since the second leg of the Champions League game against Spurs with a thigh issue.

Of the three, the only one who has any small chance of recovering for the game against Luciano Spalletti’s side is Zlatan, with the other two likely to be handled with care given that they have suffered muscle injuries in their legs which always run the risk of relapse.

  1. I do not understand how many games Messiah played for him to be having this consistent and this unlawful injury. Maldini and Masara will be so stupid not to kick him out at the end of this season.
