GdS: Ibrahimovic still has knee issue and will decide his Milan future after Sassuolo

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still struggling with a knee issue and will decide his future plans after the match against Sassuolo, a report claims.

The Swedish forward has had very limited involvement for the Rossoneri recently because of a persistent knee injury and he will meet with Milan directors at the end of the season, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News).

There is a very real possibility that Ibrahimovic will call time on his long footballing career as given he is now 40-years-old, his age is clearly affecting his ability to return to fitness after injury.

He will be at Stefano Pioli’s disposal for the final match of the season against Sassuolo in which the Rossoneri can win the league title for the first time since 2011, a title that Ibrahimovic was a part of.

He will then decide his future with the club after that match.
