AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has picked out Morocco star and Rossoneri target Sofyan Amrabat as a ‘very strong’ player in Serie A.

The Swedish striker was speaking to Sky Sport Italia (via Liverpool Echo) and he was asked about his favourite stars that are currently playing in Serie A whilst he recovers from his injury.

He chose Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to begin with who has taken Serie A by storm since arriving in the summer from Rubin Kazan. He also picked out Amrabat, the Fiorentina midfielder who has had a wonderful World Cup with Morocco so are and is being linked with a host of big clubs.

“[Khvicha] Kvaratskhelia is doing very well. Then I really like Amrabat from Fiorentina, very strong. The others are already known,” Ibrahimovic said.

One of the clubs that he is being linked with is Milan and the Rossoneri are thought to be keen on a €15 million deal for the midfielder.

Liverpool are one of the teams being linked with Amrabat the most who has helped his team to the semi-finals so far.

  1. Yeah, first time that i saw him play against milan he was very impressive. World cup proves that, that wasn’t just a fluke. 15 mil sounds great, but i believe his prive tag has gone way up since world cup.

  2. If theres anything I know, is that this management doesn’t take advice on players to sign, so unless management actually want to sign him, we could just save ourselves the hope and just look away.
