CorSport: Ibrahimovic should be available vs. Napoli while Pioli has centre-back doubt

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have begun preparing for Sunday’s crucial game against Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona and some tactical indications have begun to emerge.

As Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) writes this morning, a very important month of April awaits in which Milan will face Napoli three times, twice being in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Almost all of the sixteen Milan players who were on international duty are back at Milanello, with the exception of Sergino Dest and Devis Vasquez who will return today having been involved in commitments across the Atlantic.

Pierre Kalulu won’t be there against Napoli as he injured his calf, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Junior Messias did individual work yesterday. The Brazilian won’t be back, but the Swede should be able to come off the bench in Naples.

Pioli is expected to return to a four-man defence after a stint in which he used three centre-backs. In Kalulu’s absence, Davide Calabria should play on the right of the back four again, while Simon Kjaer and Malick Thiaw will fight for a place from the first minute.
