MN: Ibrahimovic out for at least 10 days but good news arrives regarding trio

By Oliver Fisher -

Some good news has arrived from Milanello where the AC Milan squad resumed training in preparation for Friday night’s game against Genoa at San Siro.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, both Ante Rebic and Samu Castillejo have carried out the entire session with the rest of the squad which means they have disposed of the muscular fatigue that forced them to miss Sunday’s draw against Torino.

Ismael Bennacer had an individual session at the training centre but he did work with the ball, which is a prerequisite for his return to the group during the next sessions.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the other hand is out with a knee overload that will require specific treatment for at least 10 days, which implies that he will certainly miss the game at the end of the week and possibly even the cup semi-final second leg, while Alessio Romagnoli did some work in the gym.

  1. Sad to say but Ibra’s age coming to an end.
I would like milan to keep him close to the group if possible but as player his body just can’t take it.

  2. Ibra definitely can’t keep up the pace anymore. He’s done his bit for the team which is well appreciated. He should either leave at the end of the season or get fixed in a role at our darling club. Ibra forever!❤️🖤

  3. I love the guy and what he brings to the team, but at this point with the Scudetto slipping thru our hands he has been a distraction with the drama, we have to focus like a laser, win or lose the Scudetto we have to have no more distractions, players are either in or out for the final 6 games…..”muscle fatigue” what’s up with that ? Give me average players with great durability that show up every week.
