The return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the AC Milan bench as well as Olivier Giroud scoring again means there is fresh hope around the Rossoneri’s striking options, a report claims.
As has been reported by Il Giornale (via Milan News), Milan may have been able to change the tune of their season against Torino as they beat the Granata 1-0 at San Siro on Friday night.
Beyond the three points though, the main excitement stemmed around two senior strikers. The fact that Giroud scored after a bad run of form means that he could become more important over the next few weeks.
The other good news was that after missing the entirety of the season of far whilst recovering from knee surgery, Ibrahimovic was on the bench.
Whilst he did not come on, it suggests that he will be fit enough to help with the final few months of the season, providing Stefano Pioli with a new option.
