MN: Ibrahimovic and Romagnoli train alone – both unlikely to be available for Napoli

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alessio Romagnoli both trained away from the rest of the squad today in view of Sunday’s trip to face Napoli, it is claimed.

There are some concerns about whether the duo will be available for the trip down south to Naples as Ibrahimovic has been out for over a month now with discomfort in his Achilles while Romagnoli came off during the first half of the midweek draw against Inter having tweaked his groin.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, both players trained on their own today in the gym at Milanello, and this means that it is unlikely that either will recover in view of the game against the Partenopei.

Olivier Giroud is almost certain to be the starting striker again on Sunday therefore, while Pierre Kalulu could be called upon again to start alongside Fikayo Tomori in the heart of the defence.
