Images of AC Milan’s font for the 2024-25 Champions League campaign have been leaked on social media, with a notable difference from last year’s style. Indeed, the new style is certainly not as ‘retro’ looking.
In Serie A, all clubs use the same font for the player names and numbers on the back of the shirts. This was decided ahead of the 2020-21 season to avoid significant differences, which was often the case especially when Chievo Verona were in the top flight.
Prior to last season, Milan had been using the Serie A font for the Champions League as well but finally decided to launch a custom one. It was only available for order on the authentic shirt but the response from the fans was fantastic, with many preferring the retro look.
As reported by FootyHeadlines, images of the font for the 2024-25 season have now been leaked and the retro element has been removed completely. It is somewhat similar to the font Milan had back in 2019-20, with a rather thin design. What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
