Inter CEO leaves door open for Milan and Juventus over Tonali: “We haven’t talked to Brescia”

By Oliver Fisher -

The door has been left open as Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has confirmed that he is not in talks with Brescia over Milan target Sandro Tonali.

Tonali has been linked to a number of different clubs over the past few months as he is expected to take the next step in his young career and move to a bigger club than his current side Brescia.

Milan have been linked with a move for the teenager by a number of different sources, though recent reports suggest he is very much Inter-bound.

Il Corriere di Brescia however (via TMW) claimed that Tonali’s future will be in black and blue after personal terms were agreed, while Calciomercato.it are also reporting that Tonali has chosen Inter because of the guarantees head coach Antonio Conte has put forward.

However, Beppe Marotta has cooled speculation slightly by insisting that Inter have not spoken to Brescia about the teenager.

“He’s a young player Inter want to have at our disposal next year,” he told Gianluca Di Marzio.

“It’s not only me who likes him, but many Italian experts. We haven’t talked to Brescia yet, even if the relationship with Cellino is great.”
