Jacobone: Udinese approach for Milan Futuro star immediately rejected

By Isak Möller -

Udinese enquired about the situation of Kevin Zeroli, according to a report, but their approach was immediately rejected by AC Milan. The Futuro star isn’t for sale and will remain at the club beyond the summer.

Zeroli, along with the likes of Francesco Camarda, Jan-Carlo Simic and Diego Sia, was a key player for the Primavera this past season. He wore the captain’s armband and now at the age of 19, he will be with the Milan Futuro team in Serie C this upcoming season.

Given his positive performances, also featuring for the first team last season, it’s not exactly surprising that he has attracted interest from elsewhere. According to the reliable journalist Alessandro Jacobone, Udinese enquired about the situation of the youngster but their approach was immediately rejected.

Milan’s stance is clear: Zeroli will stay at the club to continue his development with Daniele Bonera’s Futuro side. They are confident that he can become an important player for the first team in the Futuro, or be sold at a higher price than what would be realistic now.

  1. Got to give credit where it is due, I am loving almost everything I’ve heard from Milan since Fonseca started.

Going for old strikers as a show of faith in Camarda, re-casting Kalulu as a right back, refusing to negotiate in relation to the sale of Musah, Terracciano and now Zeroli.

I can accept, because he is at that awkward point that he is not ready to start in Italy, but is clearly ready to start in Belgium or Holland, that Simic is leaving to further his ambition as a player. Good luck to anyone who moves off Broadway for playing time.

    Fonseca wants Liberali.

The only thing I can fault at the moment is that if we’re going to sign Samardzic, we ought to just be playing Maldini but there are a whole set of other issues there.

    1. Maldini and Saelemakers are an awkward duo for us. with midfield and wingers that are guaranteed to be in the squad if things go according to plan are the following:

midfield: Bennacer(Rabiot is I think plan B for Bennacer), Reijnders, Fofana, Musah, RLC, Samardzic/Adli

      wingers: Leao, Pulisic, Chukwueze, Okafor

not much room anywhere, Pulisic as N10 could give Saelemakers space and/or sale of Jovic

Maldini is CAM and we already have a lot of box-to-box and CAM players… a young Italian like Bove who is also CDM would have been better or if Pobega was on his Torino level, but for the latter I don’t think we will ever see his top form…

    2. Lazar wont coming unless bennacer or adili out ( source fabrizio romano) . Conte want yunus musah in napoli , that would be stupid help direct rival strengthen their team. For old striker, they need veteran like that to guide camarda. Beside ACM budget only 50-60m euro not 100m euro like rumour because CDK money only coming in february 2025 while saladmaker not yet sold. If they buy dovyk 40m euro as striker then not enough money to buy pavlovic & fofana

    1. If udinese are after pure loan deal its better for him to in see is A than in serie C. We seem to have the best crop of rising azzuri stars. I hope we also reconsider our stance for saleamaker and Maldini. Both are useful players and should be closely watched during the preseason.

      1. They will only use him to warm their bench if go there on dry loan, better stay in futuro he can train with first team and maybe get some minutes while still playing regularly in serie C
