January transfer window; AC Milan’s signings and sales

By Isak Möller -

The Italian transfer market has officially closed, and Milan fans can be somewhat satisfied with the market as even though the signings were good, the left-wing position needed a reinforcement.

In total, the Rossoneri spent around €70m in the transfer window: €35m each on Paqueta and Piatek to be exact. The sum could increase if certain conditions are met, due to the bonuses included. Down below are all the signings and sales that Leonardo and Maldini conducted.

Signings

Paqueta (Flamengo, €35m), Krzysztof Piatek (Genoa, €35m), Leroy Abanda (Monaco, free transfer), Nikolaos Michelis (Tripolis, undisclosed fee), Tiago Djalo (Sporting, undisclosed fee), Alessandro Robotti (Alessandria, undisclosed fee).

Sales

Stefan Simic (Frosinone, loan), Gonzalo Higuain (Juve/Chelsea, end of loan), Alen Halilovic (Standard Liege, not confirmed yet), Raoul Bellanova (Bordeaux, will join in the summer).
