Journalist claims Milan are ‘resigned’ to losing Donnarumma and are ‘pessimistic’ about Calhanoglu

AC Milan are seemingly ‘resigned’ to losing both Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu at the end of the season, a journalist has claimed.

There are now two months remaining on the contracts of the goalkeeper and the playmaker and everything in the media currently suggests that there is a stand-off between Milan and the players, with no agreement imminent and nothing to even suggest that negotiations are heading in the right direction.

According to journalist Fabio Ravezzani on Twitter, the Milan management are ‘now resigned’ to losing Donnarumma and ‘rather pessimistic’ about Calhanoglu. He adds that Milan should not really have too many regrets about Gigio, who costs much more than he is worth, while Calhanoglu should have left a year ago so the club could monetise.

Time is running out for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to try and resolve both cases, because losing two important players for nothing would be very tough to justify.
