AC Milan are the team currently most interested in signing striker Luka Jovic but they have put things on pause for now, a report claims.
Mozzart Sport are among the sources to have reported that it is no secret that Jović has been a target for Milan before and that his status at Real has long been in question.
That has come alongside speculation that the Rossoneri now keen on recruiting a centre-forward to allow Zlatan Ibrahimovic to manage his work loan.
Jovic’s agent Fali Ramadani apparently met with Milan just before Christmas for negotiations with directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara over a six-month loan for the Serbian striker.
According to journalist Arancha Rodriguez (via TransferZone on Twitter), Milan are the club most interested club in signing Jovic, but at the moment the situation is on “stand-by”.
A number of other clubs have been linked with the Serbian including Wolves and former club Eintracht Frankfurt.
Enough with Jovic. We aren’t spending 50M Real want to let him go. 6 month dry loan is useless. Let Leao back up Ibra and hope he takes over when Ibra retires and if not buy someone then. Focus on CB, RW and defensive mid. We unfortunately will not spend that kind of $ on a backup to Ibra
