Journalist claims Milan, Arsenal and Spurs are ‘talking to’ expiring Frankfurt defender

AC Milan are always looking for opportunities on the market and one of their former targets, Evan Ndicka, could be available for free in the summer. The Rossoneri have thus opened talks, a report claims.

Given the injury struggles of Simon Kjaer, Milan are evaluating the idea of signing a centre-back in the summer. Stefano Pioli currently has Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Matteo Gabbia and Malick Thiaw to rely on, which some might deem enough.

It’s possible that Gabbia could move out on loan for next season, though, and then Milan would certainly need a centre-back. According to Christian Falk, speaking to CaughtOffside, the Rossoneri are in talks with the entourage of Ndicka.

“Arsenal, Tottenham and AC Milan – I think they’re all talking to the agent but it’s not massively concrete at the moment,” he stated.

Ndicka’s contract will expire in the summer and he could thus be available for free, but the journalist added that Eintracht Frankfurt have tabled a good extension. They are confident that an agreement will be reached but it’s worth keeping an eye on.
