An update on the future of Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has arrived amid rumours that AC Milan are considering a move.
We recently reported that the club’s owners Elliott Management are ready to add more experience to the squad in January, and in recent weeks it has been claimed that Milan’s pursuit of Modric is far from over after links during the summer.
It was even recently claimed by Calciomercato.com that the Croatia international has made the Rossoneri his first choice destination for when he leaves Real Madrid, and is even willing to take a pay cut to join his boyhood club.
Modric’s contract expires at the end of the season and now journalist Eduardo Inda has offered an update to Spanish outlet El Chiringuito about his future.
“Modric has already decided, he will leave Real Madrid in June. Many clubs want him and he will say goodbye,” he said, via Calciomercato.com.
The Diavolo it appears have a real chance, but they appear likely to face competition to land the current Ballon d’Or holder.
