AC Milan have found out the price they would have to pay to clinch a deal for Ajax defender Perr Schuurs, according to one journalist.
A number of names continue to be heavily linked with Milan such as Schalke’s Ozan Kabak, Strasbourg’s Mohamed Simakan and Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic, but one name that will not go away is Schuurs.
Recently, a report from MilanNews claimed that the Rossoneri are very interested in signing the 20-year-old and have their eyes on the player’s development.
Liverpool have also been extensively linked with the youngster by a number of different sources including il Corriere dello Sport, who reported that Liverpool are ‘negotiating’ with Ajax for 21-year-old centre back and have offered €30m.
Speaking to the De Telegraaf podcast, journalist Mike Verweij gave an update on the situation surrounding Schurrs, confirming that there is no concrete interest from Liverpool currently.
“An amount of thirty million will be attached [for Perr Schuurs]. If Marc Overmars gets the chance, I think he will do it immediately,” he said.
“I checked at Ajax and there is no concrete interest from Liverpool. After the match against Liverpool, the Liverpool delegation was impressed by Schuurs. He is on a list.”
