The AC Milan squad are back in training this afternoon as they begin preparing for the game against Napoli on Sunday night, and an update has arrived on the injured players.
According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), Stefano Pioli should have two forwards back for the game: Noah Okafor – who wasout of action in the last two matches – and Luka Jovic.
The latter was due to come on against PSG but stopped because he felt some discomfort in the adductor region during the warm-ups. The scans ruled out any injuries for the Serbian, so he will be available.
However, Ruben Loftus-Cheek deserves a separate discussion. The English midfielder has been out of action since Milan-Lazio on 30 September as he is suffering from inflammation of the pubo-adductor region, and his condition is being monitored daily.
If he doesn’t feel any discomfort in the inflamed area, the player will be available again, otherwise he will wait longer.
“If he doesn’t feel any discomfort in the inflamed area, the player will be available again, otherwise he will wait longer”
Is this really worthy of an article? LMAO!!! Come on, guys…..
Also it doesn’t make sense…the area would still be inflamed. So either figure out the issue or wait until it subsides.
They need some cryo tubs in Milan or something
They know the issue, the problem with sport hernias iis if you come back to soon you can fully tear it and could be out a couple months. It either just gets better or it doesn’t. if he ends up out 6 weeks anyway, they will feel stupid for not just opperating immediately.
But for real….”the player will be available again, otherwise he will wait longer”….
