Watch: Kaka sends a message to Maldini and Milan – “Milan are coming back”

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan legend Kaká revealed his hope that his former side can go on and with a 19th league title this season and also sent a message to Paolo Maldini.

The Rossoneri are beginning to hope that they might just be able to break an 11-year Scudetto drought as they sit top of the league with eight games to go. Kaká played 307 games for the club and he was asked by La Gazzetta dello Sport to send a message to Paolo Maldini and to Milan.

“Of course, it’s always a pleasure. Good luck for the rest of the season. As a Milanista, I hope Milan win the title,” he said (via Football Italia).

After Roberto Mancini’s Italy failed to qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup following a shock 1-0 loss against North Macedonia in the play-off semi-finals, Kaka was quick to try and downplay any notion that there is a systematic problem in Serie A.

“From the outside, I see Milan are coming back, same as Inter and Juventus, who are doing well in Italy and Europe. I don’t see all these problems from the outside, but there is always something to improve. I am optimistic about Italian football.”
