The AC Milan medical staff will be holding their breath as Pierre Kalulu has picked up an injury on international duty, according to a report.
According to RMC Sport, Kalulu should miss the match between France U21 and Spain U21 which is scheduled for this Tuesday after he suffered a calf problem, and he will be replaced in the squad by Ismael Doukouré.
While awaiting further news on the extent of the issue, Milan and Stefano Pioli will be crossing their fingers and hoping for good news given that there are three matches against Napoli next month, with two being the Champions League quarter-finals.
It comes after Kalulu spoke at the press conference for the national team last night about what it is like to play in Italy, the role he prefers to play in and what he can do to improve further after a very positive start to his journey with Milan.
