Ahead of the game between AC Milan and Genoa, which will kick off in under 30 min, Pierre Kalulu spoke about the Rossoneri’s current situation. Indeed, it’s an important game in the Scudetto race.
The Rossoneri have struggled to find the back of the net in the last few games (two consecutive 0-0 draws) and they need to bounce back with a win this evening. It’s a crucial game in the Scudetto race, in other words.
Ahead of the game, Kalulu was interviewed by MilanTV (via MilanNews) and he shared his thoughts on the goal he scored against Genoa away from home (his first for the club). He also praised the fans for their fantastic support lately.
On the game…
“We prepared this match like any other, with confidence in our game and knowing that we have to do better to win.”
On his first goal for the club…
“The first goal came against them, but now I’m in a good moment. I’m glad they speak well of me. I’m calm, but in football, everything changes quickly. Football is not easy and you have to stay concentrated until the end.”
On the enthusiasm of the fans…
“Even inside the city I feel it. When the stadium is full it’s better for everyone, but also for you: seeing this kind of match is always a pleasure.”
There will be 70K fans at San Siro this evening and that is a new record for the season. Pioli can count on the support of the fans to energise his players but it won’t be an easy game in spite of this.
