Franck Kessie will make his last home appearance for AC Milan this afternoon against Atalanta but he wishes to close the cycle before moving on, a report claims.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that this evening’s game between Milan and Atalanta is huge in the Scudetto race and it will also be the last at San Siro for Franck Kessie, who is ready to bid farewell to his team-mates and join Barcelona.
The circle of the Ivorian midfielder opened in Bergamo with Atalanta, with whom he made his debut in 2016, and will end at San Siro against the team that helped him to grow. In the last few home games there was a clear division as some fans booed the Ivorian when his name was read out while the Curva Sud have always supported Franck.
Obviously the situation is a difficult one given Kessie essentially pledged to renew his deal in an interview last summer but has opted to leave on a free instead, but he is concentrated and determined to leave in the right way, hopefully with a Scudetto winner’s medal under his belt.
