CM: Inter and Juventus want Kessie but Barcelona and Spurs lead the race

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is likely to have his pick of the clubs to sign for on a free transfer this summer, according to a report.

There is a two-fold hysteria around Kessie currently, the first part of which is related to his future as the Ivorian has just a few months left on his contract which expires in June 2022 and he appears to be far away from renewing. The second part is because his level of performances have not been close to as consistent as last season suggesting his mind may be elsewhere.

According to what Calciomercato.com journalist Daniele Longo said during a stream for Juventibus (via Pueblo Juve on Twitter), Kessie has plenty of admirers and will not be short of options if indeed he does make the final decision to leave.

He could stay in Italy because both Juventus and Inter are keen on signing him, but the most interested clubs are currently Barcelona in LaLiga and then Spurs in the Premier League. Next week his agent will meet with Barca to talk terms.
