Di Marzio: Kessie renewal more unlikely than likely as tense stalemate continues

There is still no positive news regarding the renewal of Franck Kessie as neither side now appear willing to take a step towards each other, it is claimed.

Gianluca Di Marzio spoke to Sky Italia (via PianetaMilan) about Kessie’s situation and confirmed that it still remains at a stalemate due to the distance between the parties. He added that a renewal is more unlikely than likely at the time being because for now the situation is on stand-by.

There is distance between the parties and nothing to suggest that either is willing to budge at the moment, which means it could just be a matter of winding down the remaining months and bidding farewell to the Ivorian.

Kessie, it seems, is heading for the same fate as Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu by being told to walk because the management are not willing to cede to his excessive demands.
