AC Milan bounced back from the mid-week draw against Cremonese with a strong performance against Lazio this afternoon. Indeed, the stats from the 2-0 win are positive.
Ismael Bennacer opened the scoring early in the first half as Milan pressed Lazio incredibly high, forcing a mistake. The Algerian made no mistakes with the finish but that was quickly forgotten as Theo Hernandez scored another solo goal shortly after.
Milan will face Inter next in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final. Rafael Leao left today’s game early due to an injury but it looks like he’s okay. We will keep you posted on that matter, of course.
