Kicker: Eintracht Frankfurt join Milan in race for struggling €60m Real Madrid forward

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan appear to face competition from Eintracht Frankfurt in the race to land Luka Jovic from Real Madrid, a report in Germany has claimed.

MilanNews reported yesterday that the Rossoneri recently had a meeting with the Serbian’s agent, Fali Ramadani, to take stock of the situation regarding Jovic. The idea would be to loan him from Real Madrid for the rest of the season, perhaps with an option to buy included.

However, the Rossoneri are yet to receive a definitive response from the Bernabeu side, while the hunt for a striker currently isn’t a priority. If a good opportunity emerges, as the report continues, then a striker could arrive.

According to Kicker (via Transferzone on Twitter), Eintracht Frankfurt want Jovic on loan. It would of course be a move that would see the 23-year-old move back to the club where he rose to prominence before his €60m switch to the Bernabeu in summer 2019.
