MN: The truth about Milan’s interest in Real Madrid striker as meeting takes place

By Isak Möller -

As a result of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s injury, Milan are now keeping a close eye on the market for opportunities to reinforce the attack. Above all, one name has been linked with them: Luka Jovic.

According to MilanNews.it, the Rossoneri recently had a meeting with the Serbian’s agent, Fali Ramadani, to take stock of the situation. The idea would be to loan him from Real Madrid for the rest of the season, perhaps with a buy-out clause included.

However, the Rossoneri are yet to receive a definitive response from the Bernabeu side, while the hunt for a striker currently isn’t a priority. If a good opportunity emerges, as the report continues, then a striker could arrive.

After all, that’s what the mercato is all about, especially the January one. Many operations are born and develop based on what the market offers at that precise moment, and this will be the case for Milan next month.
