Simon Kjaer has admitted there were some similarities with the Spezia game as AC Milan failed to score and did not manage to beat Cremonese last night.
Milan lost further ground in the title race as Napoli beat Empoli before the Rossoneri took to the field and they were unable to respond with a win of their own in what was a frustrating night in Cremona.
Kjaer spoke to Milan TV after the game to try and dissect what was a difficult game, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.
“A bit of the same story as against Spezia… There are details in which to be more careful. Now we have to fix them immediately in view of Sunday’s match,” he said.
How did Thiaw play?
“Excellent player and excellent young man, he works hard every day. He played an excellent game, very concentrated and hard in duels; he has a lot of quality in the defensive phase ”.
Is it better to play again right away?
“We have to finish in the best possible way, today we lost two points. If we win, we will be two points behind compared to last year… but we have to win, that’s all.”
I’m liking this Thiaw very much. Giant of a man, speed, strenght, solid decision making, seems like a pretty mature player for a 21yo. At 7M€ looks like we have another kalulu type signing. Has it all to become a complete CB
i wasn’t really impressed by Thiaw his preformance . But we should give him time to develop.
