Kjaer given award for appearance milestone with Milan – photos

By Oliver Fisher -

Simon Kjaer recently racked up 100 appearances for AC Milan, and he was given an award for hitting the milestone at Milanello today.

Kjaer joined Milan on an initial loan from Sevilla halfway through the 2019-20 season and quickly established himself as a leader thanks to his experience, helping a young team through a difficult campaign.

Although he may now be down the pecking order, he still continues to be called upon when the defence need him and his achievement was celebrated at training.

      1. Lol Furlani’s face is so smug. What exactly is he going to tell the players? And what exactly do they get from his presence? Smh he’s so full of it..never was there before in training so why now? 🤷‍♂️
All it does is makes ppl nervous to see their boss who’s main interaction with them is financed looking over them.

    1. Kjaer due to aging is rapidly loosing his pace and this is suppose to be y for by his positioning and aggressiveness….yet I believed his injury has also made his lost aggressive marking also…. if as a defender you lost all this then what are you doing on the pitch? Other physical qualities like stamina , balance etc are useless…what made Milan of Maldini, Nesta, cafu, Stam, Jankulovski, Baresi, Costacurta, etc such a fearsome backline… ability to play aggressively, position play, stay injury free…this is also the Hallmark of our last scudetto win…why have we lost it now?
