Simon Kjaer’s recovery from knee surgery is going according to plan and the schedule for his return has been set, a report claims.
As Tuttosport (via MilanLive) report this morning, Kjaer’s recovery is continuing as per the previously established timing. The centre-back is at Milanello every day doing personalised work and physiotherapy to get strength back into his knee after such a long absence.
Of course, it is not easy for a 33-year-old to recover from such a tough injury but from day one the Dane has been determined to come back as 100% of the player he was before, showing his attachment to the shirt.
He is considered by the Rossoneri management to be one of the major architects of the relaunch since his arrival in January 2020, helping a young squad with his quality and his leadership, and since then Pioli’s Milan have grown exponentially.
Regarding his recovery, it seems that in July he will begin training with the rest of the squad but he will not be pushed too hard in terms of workload. The current feeling is that he could be considered available in August, coinciding with the start of the new season.
