Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has branded it ‘very funny’ that AC Milan were put in pot four for the Champions League group stage draw.
Liverpool ended up coming out on top in a thriller at Anfield last night, taking the lead through Alexander-Arnold but trailing at the break as goals from Rebic and Brahim Diaz gave the Rossoneri the lead. However, they came storming back and Salah’s equaliser plus Henderson’s strike gave them the win.
Klopp spoke to reporters who gathered in the press conference room after the game, and Milan can be flattered by his words.
“It was almost everything perfect, apart from when we almost lost. We untied and scored two goals. Today we had time to resume in the game, play the game, scoring two beautiful goals. Milan came from pot four in this group, very funny,” he said (via MilanNews).

It’s a compliment for a strong team Klopp has some good understanding, he thinks it’s unjust with ac Milan also the character Milan showed would have seriously impacted Klopp. It’s an interesting battle.
