There seems to be some worry in the Juventus camp about whether Federico Chiesa will make it back for the game against AC Milan in a week.
The headline of La Stampa (via MilanNews) this morning reads as follows: ‘Juve are anxious about Chiesa, so he risks missing the match against Milan.’
Chiesa was forced to miss the matches against Malta and England with the Italian national team, but the paper claims that he now also risks not playing against Milan when the Serie A season resumes.
Dusan Vlahovic is recovering within the established time frame and thus he should be back to lead the line for Max Allegri’s side at San Siro next Sunday, but Chiesa’s situation is more worrying.
Medical tests have ruled out muscle injuries, but the discomfort continues and Chiesa hasn’t trained for more than a week. Tomorrow he will undergo new tests at J-Medical and Allegri is therefore waiting for news from the infirmary.
He is in good form, quality player, and if he’ll miss the game it’s good news for us.
But as long as we dont get another injury, we should be able to win against Juventus, with or without Chiesa.
Milik will also do the job likewise.
