AC Milan are battling three Ligue 1 clubs for the signing of Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, a report in France has claimed.
TMW reported on Monday that Bakayoko will be sold by the Premier League side during the upcoming window after he returned from Monaco, who opted not to use their option to buy, with Milan preparing a substantial package to tempt him back.
According to the latest from Le10Sport, both OGC Nice and Paris Saint-Germain have lodged enquiries with the entourage of Bakyoko over his situation and the figures of a possible deal.
Now, a third French club have made their advance as Olympique Lyonnais have also asked for information.
Lyon know that it will take €35million in transfer fee to sign him from the Blues and his €5m-a-year net salary will be a problem, but the player’s objective is to be able to reclaim a place in the French national team for the 2021 European Championships. At Lyon, he would have the playing time to do just that.
