The idea of a potential move for Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has caused an internal rift at PSG, a report claims.
A number of different sources have reported that PSG have joined Milan in the race to land Bakayoko, including MilanNews who claim that a bid worth €45m has been launched.
According to French source Le10Sport, there is no unanimity at PSG regarding the 26-year-old’s potential arrival. If sporting director Leonardo is convinced, coach Thomas Tuchel is not a great admirer of the Chelsea midfielder and would prefer a different player.
The PSG sporting director also has different options, but the Bakayoko track is kept ready if the players considered first choices do not arrive.
It would be a simple signature to complete from PSG’s point of view as it would be a loan with an option to buy. For his part, the player is motivated to join and is only waiting for the green light from Paris.
However, the report adds how he is also motivated by the idea of returning to Milan. At the time of writing, anything is possible, but PSG are now working on other profiles.
