AC Milan star Rafael Leao has answered some questions from fans regarding his idol, his best moment at the club and life away from the pitch.
Milan will start the season on Monday 21 August with an away trip to face Bologna hoping to end it with the second star, which comes with Scudetto number 20. They are not the favourites to win it with the bookmakers, but they are among the contenders.
A big season awaits for Leao, who is an undisputed leader within the squad. Fresh off the back of a long-term renewal which warded off interest from abroad, the Portuguese winger now faces the challenge of taking a further leap and becoming a 20-goal scorer.
Leao was a guest on The Residency who published a series of questions that he was asked on their TikTok profile.
Who is the best striker in history? “Cristiano Ronaldo.”
Were you good at football in school? “Of course.”
What is the coolest thing about fame? “People who recognise you on the street for your work.”
And the worst thing? “Having to take too many pictures.”
Who is your idol? “Cristiano Ronaldo.”
What has been your most exciting moment? “My debut in the first team.”
What’s your favourite movie and song? “Fast and Furious, and Roddy Rich – Down Below.”
Tell us an embarrassing moment… “I was in the street, finished my dinner, and I was about to go home. A fan comes to me, asks me for a phone and then he asked if he can kiss my foot. It was weird.”
Your best goal? “Against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.”
For that goal, Brahim Diaz did fantastically to hang onto the ball before squaring to Leao in space, who set himself before sweeping a sweet shot with his right foot into the bottom corner.
