Following AC Milan’s victory against Newcastle United, Milan legend Clarence Seedorf was welcomed into the dressing room after full-time.
After Rafael Leao’s return to the Rossoneri starting XI, he posed alongside the Dutchman in the away dressing room, and uploaded the picture to his Instagram story, captioning it ‘Legend’.

His start against the Magpies was his first minutes for the Diavolo since the draw against Lecce, and it is hoped that his return will provide some inspiration and improve Milan’s frontline’s attacking output.
One of the most underrated midfielders in the history of the game. Can defend and attack, highly technical, can shoot extremely well especially from outside the box, tactically brilliant, can play anywhere in midfield..simply brilliant!
Legend and an absolute beast. And a class act like most of the guys at the time. I remember his jersey’s sleeves were about to explode when he lifted the UCL trophy in 2007 haha his legs and arms were tree trunks!
He’s definitely not underrated.
Pretty much everyone knows and admitted of how great Seedorf is before he plays for Milan. I mean, he won Dutch Footbal of the Year back in 93/94 where he won Eredivise and then Champions League in 94/95 with Ajax. He also won La Liga and Champions League in 97/98 with Madrid.
Sadly not every great players can become a great manager…
Nope. You should read what people have written about him. Definitely underrated by half of the football following people. Just because he won sh*tload of things doesn’t mean he got/gets the appreciation he deserves.
We know Seedorf and what he’s done but outside of our Milan world, he probably one of the most underrated. Go check out what Rio said when he named his starting XI UCL (he picked him ofc but he went into how criminally underrated Seedorf is). Look even at his icon cards for FIFA (I know not the litmus test but it’s part and parcel of the issue) grossly underrated stats. Barely +1 on Essien and Veron??? Come on now.
