AC Milan obtained a valuable three points on Saturday night as they beat Sampdoria 5-1, and Rafael Leao was crowned as the Serie A Player of the Month.
Leao is having his best season numbers-wise, given that he has contributed to 21 goals this season, with 13 being his own and 8 being assists. He’s getting back into shape after the small muscle problem that prevented him from participating in the first leg of the EuroDerby against Inter.
The winger was named Serie A MVP of the month for April and he reacted on social media: “Thanks to all those who voted for me, thanks to my team for helping me win this award! Proud to receive this award, we go for more.”
