L’Equipe: Milan offer €8m plus bonuses for Strasbourg star – Chelsea man the alternative

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have made an offer for Strasbourg defender Mohamed Simakan but it is below their valuation of the player, a report claims.

Reports from France emerged claiming that Simakan has already agreed personal terms with Milan over a five-year deal, and this was then confirmed directly to us by the player’s agent.

According to L’Equipe, Milan have been following the 20-year-old for weeks and have just made a first offer to Strasbourg worth €8m plus ‘significant’ bonuses. However, the Alsatian club are still hoping to receive €20m for their prized young asset.

Simakan has an agreement with Milan over a five-year contract, the source confirms, but at the same time Milan are working on signing German defender Antonio Rüdiger from Chelsea in case the deal does not come to fruition with Strasbourg for Simakan.
