Wesley Fofana is one of the most interesting prospects in the Ligue 1 at the moment and he has been attracting a lot of interest in the last couple of months, including from AC Milan. However, the competition is stiff and there’s a long road leading to the French defender.
Initially, it was Ralf Rangnick who put Fofana on his list of potential reinforcements, but according to L’Equipe (via gazzetta.it), the Frenchman remained on the Rossoneri’s list even after the deal with the German coach fell through.
There is a lot of interest in the player, with Valencia, Villarreal and Sevilla interested. Leipzig have made a 20 million euros offer for the defender and according to the prominent French paper, this offer could be matched by Milan.
But the source also warns that Leicester is ready to make a decisive move and offer as much as 25 million and at that point, Saint Etienne could let the player leave, as it would almost reach the fee paid by Arsenal for Saliba a year ago.
