L’Equipe: PSG striker expresses preference regarding future amid Milan links

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are likely to be disappointed in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain striker Hugo Ekitike, according to a report from France.

Sky reported last night that Milan are exploring the idea of a move for Juventus forward Moise Kean that would have a loan with option to buy as part of it that could turn into an obligation, but Ekitike and Chelsea’s Armando Broja are also on their list.

According to the latest from L’Equipe (via MilanNews), Ekitike is Among the players who are not expected to be part of PSG’s plans for next season, given he amassed just four goals and four assists in 32 appearances in 2022-23.

Luis Enrique wants a new-look attack, and Eintracht Frankfurt have expressed an interest in signing the former Stade de Reims star, while he has been probed by Milan as a possible alternative to Oliver Giroud.

Regardless of how the negotiations with these two clubs could go, the striker himself has expressed a clear will: he would prefer to stay in Ligue 1 and specifically go and play at RC Lens.

  1. Shame, but can’t force a player to join us.

Moise Kean can’t hit a barn door and Broja just got back from a major surgery and is a big question mark.

I hope they find someone better than those two.

    1. You know what Giancarlo. Call Milan and ask to be the next manager and you can lead us to the next Scudetto since you have so much knowledge of the game

    1. LMAO. Broja just got off a major injury and you’re calling this guy trash yet you want Everton big money flop Moise Kean?

          1. C’mon man!
            Age difference?
They are both in their early 20s and there is only 2 years age difference. That’s negligible.
A lot of players fail in the EPL.
You going to hold that against him?
Their common denominator is the French league. Both played in the same league with the same club at the same age, and Kean production trumps Ekitike’s.
Plus Kean, knows the league, the language, he is homegrown and apparently is best friends with Leao.
Not saying he is my top choice of all the strikers in the world, but if those 3 are the only options, Kean is the one to go with.

          2. Kean is not that good and isn’t that much better with goals scored. He is a big Everton flop. Had 2 goals in like 30 appearances there. He’s not even a CF or target man. He often plays as a winger.

He’s very mediocre. Kean is probably one of the worst of the three.

        1. Sure, he only has more goal contributions per 90 minutes. Yes, if you look at only goals, but G+A, no. And he is 3 years younger, tall and not slow. Kean is like Okafor, what do they need another player like that for? Okafor is probably better.

  2. This Giancarloser works in this website, ever since I started replying to him, I got blocked.
He wrote many insulting comments, yet he is here always

  3. I am not an admirer of Kean but saying he’s a PL flop, well we did sign a good portion of so called PL flops or rejects ourselves, didn’t we?

  4. I mean, Liverpool won the league and CL with Mane – Bobby – Salah trio up front. And Bobby is no classic CF.

Ancelotti won his first match a week ago playing 4312 with Vini and Rodrygo up front. Non of these two are classic CF’s.

Why can’t Pioli play Leao-Okafor-Chuk trio is beyond me. These three together would create a havoc for any opposition’s defence. Unpredictable and able to score. Pulisic-Giroud(Keane)-Romero the alternative. Also strong.
