AC Milan recent form has resulted in a very negative mood ahead of the Supercoppa Italiana final against Inter. The latter clash is now a must-win for the Rossoneri, who risk failing three season targets in one week.
After losing a two-goal lead against Roma, and then getting knocked out of the Coppa Italia by Torino, Milan only got one point against Lecce last night. In short, the Rossoneri have a lot to improve and must pick themselves up immediately.
As highlighted by Andrea Longoni for MilanNews, the Supercoppa final that will be played on Wednesday is now even more crucial. Getting the win would bring home a title and could perhaps spark a resurgence of sorts in the league.
However, if Milan were to lose, then they essentially will have failed three season targets in just one week (the Scudetto, the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa). The stakes are thus very high for Stefano Pioli’s men.

Yet the momentum is A-W-F-U-L! Two draws and one defeat from the last 3. If we count the matches from December too, there’s 3 more defeats (PSV, Arsenal, Liverpool) too.
Look at the next 10 matches we have. There Inter (2x), Lazio, Sassuolo, Viola, Torino (who we’ve lost twice already!) etc. Only Monza should be a “sure 3p”-match on paper. But they drew with Inter so I’m not sure Milan can beat them either.
If Milan continue like this, after the next 10 matches we’re in the midtable instead of the number 2. So yeah, we’ve already lost the scudetto for sure.
We have lost the scudetto no way back especially with the team we have. Our team isn’t good enough for top 4 right now.
Last year was a miracle and don’t expect to happen again.
We need new players our club is going down.
IF Kjaer can stay fit and Zlatan is in good shape when he returns… Then we MIGHT have tiny chance of hanging on to the TOP4. But is there anyone here who thinks Kjaer wouldn’t get hurt again soon and Zlatan can continue his insane scoring records from the last 3 seasons?
But since we’re getting zero help from the mercato… Those two are the only hope. And how sad is that?
At first stop saying that: “Our Scudetto win, last season was a miracle” cause, that basically shows that, we have zero faith in our team… But again, if we win the Scudetto this season, then you, are going to say the same thing next season right?

Yes I am fed up of all these negative remarks ,ok we might not win the scuddeto again this season ,and I am surprised at Napoli ,who have without question been the best team so far in leauge …We are however still in second place ,is that so awful ..How many thought we would win the scuddeto last season ,and on a budget ..I did ,as soon as we signed Olivier Giroud I said we would win it we did ..
Yes we have been below par for a while now,but that’s not surprising given the injuries we have had to contend with ..We will however ,bounce back ..
Once we win our next game ,then confidence will come back …It would be great to win another trophy,the super cup against inter will do ..
After that soon comes champions leauge against Tottenham…Win that one and what will everyone be saying then .?
If we win against Tottenham.. They will say that: But, Spurs aren’t a big team.. We will be smoked by, Manchester City or Bayern Munich in the Quarter Finals! So you, have your answer…
It’s not about being second instead of first. It’s about the worrying trend and downhill that started just before the WC.
The game hasn’t looked good in ages and our only attacking strategies (get the ball to Leao to the left and/or to Giroud in the box) are failing miserably. Not to mention the leaky defense that looks worse than Cremonese’s.
If we continue like this, the second place is an utopistic dream.
Milan will struggle to keep 4th position for Champions League position. Also, I think there are 20% chances to beat Tottenham in 2 games. So, not investing money in squad, losing players for free will be paid twice in year or two.
20% chance, are you sure about it? They aren’t a consistent team tbh.. We can, definitely beat them..
No we cant lolll, that they are inconsistent in The Prem doesnt say anything, they still have quality players who can punish us while the only players who can punish team for us is Leao. Also Conte will outclass Pioli again as usual. Nah Spurs will beat us, even a poor Chelsea side beat us
They couldn’t even, beat Rennes in the Conference League.. They bottled, against Dinamo Zagreb(a side that, doesn’t even play in, top five European League) two years ago.. Spurs are no Chelsea! Don’t forget, against Chelsea, we missed couple of players..

I love your optimismin but… Two matches coming. Even one draw from those two look like a distant dream ATM. Nothing is working in the team currently and we’ve got ~10 important matches coming. Doesn’t look god. Not at all.
