Ahead of the 2022/23 season, AC Milan are looking to bring in a new striker to add some youth to their attacking department. Andrea Belotti has been mentioned a lot and Maxi Lopez believes he could be the right solution.
Belotti’s contract with Torino will expire at the end of the season and it doesn’t look like he will renew. He’s a boyhood fan of Milan and is eager to join the club this summer, but the Rossoneri aren’t as keen by the looks of it.
In an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanLive, the former Milan striker Maxi Lopez was asked about the Rossoneri’s striker pursuit. He stated that Belotti could be the right solution for ‘all parties’.
“Belotti? I read that Milan is a concrete option for him. I think it’s the right solution for both parties,” he stated.
It remains to be seen if the Rossoneri will listen to their former man, but the Gianluca Scamacca and Divock Origi tracks seem a lot hotter right now. A lot can change until the summer, though.
I’d like to see us get both Belotti and Scamacca. We’d be set for now and the future.
AC Milan offer 60m euro for belotti in the past but he choose to extend contract with Torino ,that makes Torino president have full power to asking 100m euro fee transfer. If only he refuse to extend contract and push president Torino to accept AC Milan offer maybe he already wear number 9 and AC Milan don’t need sign mediocre lord Kalinic.
