CorSera: Milan and Sevilla both monitoring situation of €40m Lazio playmaker

By Oliver Fisher -

Luis Alberto continues to struggle to assert himself in the starting line-up under Maurizio Sarri at Lazio and AC Milan are monitoring his situation, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) writes how with Sarri on the bench, Alberto is struggling to find space as the Lazio coach often prefers Basic to him, who arrived in the summer from Bordeaux and is more of a combative midfield presence.

The situation of the Spaniard must be carefully monitored as a possible departure during the summer transfer window cannot be excluded. That is why clubs are beginning to gather, with the paper mentioning Milan and Sevilla as registering their interest in the former Liverpool man.

However, the request of the Biancocelesti is quite high given that the president Claudio Lotito knows the quality that the 29-year-old has, which is why he is asking for at least €40m to sell.
