AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan believes there is more to penalties than it just being a simple lottery, while he looked ahead to the upcoming PSG game.
During the international break a number of different players have been performing media duties and Maignan is no exception. He spoke during an interview with Telefoot about a number of different topics in a clip released on their social media.
On penalties: “We often say that penalties are a lottery, but I often say that it is a psychological duel.”
On Lloris: “Hugo told me to stay the same: that I deserved it and that it was up to me.”
On the calf injury: “It was my first big injury, and it was really a tough and complicated test.”
On PSG: “They are an ambitious and talented club. I had Presnel Kimpembe on the phone: it’s a shame that he can’t participate in this PSG-Milan, because I know he dreams of scoring a goal for me, but he doesn’t have it yet done.”
"J'ai eu Presnel au téléphone : c'est dommage qu'il ne puisse pas participer à ce PSG – Milan, parce que je sais qu'il rêve de me mettre un but, mais il ne l'a toujours pas fait 😂"
